grand kids

This morning was one of those mornings I dream of, knowing there is no where to go, no one to see and I can get some work done sitting in my robe drinking coffee.  I love my morning coffee, and there is nothing better than a morning that you can jump in the shower – throw a towel on your head – pick up the computer catch up on some emails and sip black coffee.  Today I got to do all of the above for a couple hours while my little sister watched Julie & Julia which I love too.

We knew this was the last morning we would have together in a while and enjoyed it immensely, breakfast was kind of late, but at least it was eaten.  Not sure you call peanut butter breakfast but it is high in protein.

This afternoon we were blessed with Lisa, AJ and all 4 kids coming to see us for the afternoon – we roped them into staying for dinner which took the act of the mother in law look at AJ – I love making him think I am tough.  Dinner was one of my husband’s favorites, Pork Steaks, hash browns and eggs.  I made a choice of not having the hash browns or eggs and opted for some broccoli and an apple with mine.  It was great to have 4 more grandkids here.

Tomorrow we start moving, and that will be my exercise for the next several days.  It is kind of funny, I am a real estate agent, and I think moving is the biggest pain in the butt there is.  I have a lot of decisions to make about what to keep, what to throw away, as this move is intended to make me healthy, to purge some of the clutter in my life.  Wish me luck, I am going to need it…. my goal is to eat right and make it through this next week.
