We had our traditional Chambers Family Christmas today, some of the family was here some were seen last week and some will be here later in the week. Having a large family with a lot of blended families means seldom do we all get to be together at the same time. We make do and life is often full of chaos.
We had 2 of our girls, their children, my sister and her daughter here for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This blog is the beginning of my daily diary of making better decisions for me. The gift I decided to give to myself this Christmas. Although times are tough for many (us included) I know there are a lot of things I can be doing to make my life better. By making my life better I hope to share, and discover a better person within me.
Today the biggest decision I had to make was whether or not I would make more Caramels – they sounded so good, and they are good… but today was the end of a holiday that we all over eat and I did not need those caramels made from real cream, butter and sugar. Not sure how many calories I saved myself, but tonight there were no caramels, instead I had a very juicy Apple sliced thin. It was actually very good. Exercise, well I did play a couple games of wii bowling with my grandson, we boxed and that was about it… but hey, it’s Christmas! To anyone that stumbles across this – Hope your Christmas was a wonderful one… What are you doing for yourself this year?
